Originally convened on July 15th 1997 the National Energy Skills Center was incorporated under the Companies Act 1995 pursuant to a requirement of the Project Agreement between the then Government of Trinidad and Tobago and Atlantic LNG Company of Trinidad and Tobago for Train 1 LNG at Point Fortin.

Since then the Centre has experienced steady growth and development, launching new areas of study and a diverse curriculum that seeks to fulfill the needs of tomorrow’s labour force.
