This programme provides participants with the skills required for the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment used in the Petrochemical and other industries. The course includes the repair and alignment of pumps and other rotating equipment, gearboxes and compressors. Apprentices will learn to perform predictive and operational maintenance using procedures such as vibration analysis, and repair or replace defective parts when necessary. They will learn to service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
