Maintenance Trades
Generally, maintenance trades provide skills and knowledge in breakdown, corrective and preventative maintenance. These activities may be value driven based on cost of equipment and/or production levels.

Ideally, maintenance is performed to keep equipment and/or systems running efficiently for at least the design life of the component. There is a link among design, installation, application and maintenance activities as intended by the manufacturer to achieve optimum operating life of the system.
