The Training Programme comprises classroom sessions that address approaches related to the implementation and application of steering and suspension diagnosis and repair as well as practical sessions for he application of the theoretical approaches discussed. Participants will be exposed to and trained in state-of-the-art Automotive Industry Standard equipment and systems.
Course Outline
On completion of the programme, trainees should be able to:
- Demonstrate safe practice in the workplace
- Identify vehicle frame damage
- Service and repair steering linkages and suspension systems components
- Diagnose and service wheels, tyres and wheel bearings
- Diagnose, service and repair steering gear assemblies
- Describe steering angles and how each affects vehicle handling
- Explain alignment procedures
- Diagnose and correct suspension and steering problems
