The NESC Skills and Technology Centre, La Brea was established in 2006 on the compound of the former Vessigny Government Secondary School. Full-time and part-time training is offered in a range of Construction and Maintenance Trades.

The centre provides much needed employment-ready skills to residents of La Brea and neighboring communities. All ten courses offered at the centre are well subscribed as young people grasp the opportunities which NESC’s training provides.
