Training at the NESC Skills and Technology Centre, Ste. Madeleine began in 2008. Infrastructure works at the former Caroni Field Transport and Field Engineering Compound are on-going. Once the ‘capital works programme’ is completed, the Centre will be the second largest of NESC’s training facilities.
On March 2010, the operations of NESC Debe Automotive Technology Centre were transferred to the state-of-the-art Automotive Services Technician Workshop at the Ste. Madeleine Centre. There are now over ten courses offered at the centre, a number which will increase as the refurbishment and building works progress.
