The NESC Skills and Technology Centre, Goldsborough, Tobago was established in 2002. The marriage of NESC’s core competencies, experience and excellence in skills training and the specific needs of, and input from industry players in Tobago has given birth to specially designed programmes built upon the NESC’s existing Industry Specific Programmes.

NESC’s Facilities Maintenance Programme was developed specifically for the tourism/hotel sector in Tobago and combines a number of skills from various trades and is designed to equip graduates with the tools to perform tasks essential to building maintenance, with emphasis on the hotel industry.

The centre has the on-going support of the Tobago House of Assembly and now offers eight courses to the residents of the sister isle.
